These lights look very nice in our shrubbery, they're not very long, but they have a very pretty look to them.The lights work well, time will tell how durable they are. Only dissapointment was they can't be plugged into the existing meteor lights I had, and that is why I bought them. They won't go to waste, though.I'm curious why there is a rating for remote control, since there isn't one included.Had them up one whole Christmas season so far. They saw rain, ice and snow for weeks and so far have held up nicely. Took them down after two months of use and they were all still fully functional. With proper storage in my tote I have no reason to think they won't be working just as good by next year but will update if that changes.It seems the manufacturer heard comments about water filling up the tubes because mine came with little holes in the bottoms for drainage. These worked very well. They are also very lightweight. Very happy with these. I bought 2 strings, they were long enough to cover the porch and garage of my townhouse.So far the previous lights ordered are still working after two years.Works fine but like ALL the dripping/meteor lights I've bought over the years it collects water inside when it rains. I've tried waterproofing the top where the cord enters with liquid electrical tape (thinned down silicone) and it helps a little bit. The best thing to do is drill a hole in the bottom plug so that water can drain out before you hang them. They have a very nice moisture resistant plug unlike the phone style USB charger plug most models have. Also the lead before the first light is nice and long so the plug can be at ground level even though the first light is on the soffit.I waited until Christmas was over as well as using the lights for about a month. I love them! Neighbors complemented the decorations. These were paired with chasing light that are red, Blue, green, and white. The effect was so different then any other house.
