Used these lights as a replacement for my old bedroom LEDs, which burnt out and stopped working. These fairy lights are honestly a lot better, however, a pain to unravel. It's composition of wire makes it easier to mount onto walls though - you can just wrap it around something a few times and it'll stay (I stuck some pushpins into my walls and wrapped the lights around them).Some critiques regarding function would be that I don't really like the light settings. Half of them flash rapidly, and a lot of the other ones gradually flash faster. Not exactly ideal for my bedroom. The timer is cool, but I don't like how you can't choose when it times out, you have to hit the button at a certain time of day for it to work. These are things I wish were better, but can of course deal with. I've had worse.
