I was looking for fairy lights for a tree that I decorate for all holidays/seasons. I wanted to be able to change the colors without having to change the lights since this was a messy job because the tree shed every time. These lights are perfect. They are vibrant and have many options. I prefer steady but like to change it up occasionally. There were only two drawbacks but they wouldn’t deter me from buying again. First, it would be nice to control the brightness. Second, when using the remote (that I love!!), it interferes with my firetv. The first time I tried to make the lights stay on steady, my tv changed inputs! I thought my dog had stepped on the remote for the tv like he usually does but he was just laying there half asleep. I still didn’t realize it was the light remote until later when he was no where near the tv remote and I was showing off the lights to my family that I realized it was the light remote. Again, not a deal breaker. I just know not to adjust with the remote if watching something important. (Like the Browns playoff game tonight—Go Brown!!!)Just got these in the mail and put them on my little 3ft tree. This is just the right amount of lights for how many I like on the tree, and my only complaint so far is that there are several spots where two adjacent beads are programmed to display the same color, so you do end up with patches of the same color lights next to each other unless you are willing to bend and cross the wires more than I am. They are plugged into a rechargeable power bank. You do have to be pretty close to the receiver to use the remote, and sometimes it doesn't seem to register a button press. right now I am satisfied with them. The white is stark and cool toned, and the beads don't have a uniform hue, and the yellow is too saturated to replace a warm white, so you may want to consider other lights if you were hoping to have both options available on a tree. The wave pattern gives them a very pretty twinkle.I was trying to get decent lights for a new Christmas tree and the LED ones I bought just didn't make me happy. I had bought other styles of fairy lights before so going away from traditional Christmas lights wasn't too crazy of an idea. It turned out great. I put three of these on my skinny tree and it covered well. I could change the colors and motion to whatever I felt like at any time. It was a little difficult at first as one remote can control all three strands but they do have a memory function - so if you set it to what you want then unplug it, plugging it back in will go back to where it was. The only thing I could want would be for speed control and possible the ability to dim the lights. Other than that these were perfect - and a lot cheaper than traditional lights!These are unlike any fairy lights I've seen. They are so bright and pretty and the length is incredible. I purchased these for my golf cart and was so surprised at how much light they put off. My kids love being able to switch the color/light pattern with the remote and it has made evening rides extra fun.Extremely easy to use, very eye catching decorationThey are on the same frequency as my sound bar so anytime I turn that on the lights come on! They are really pretty thougThese are some of the Best lights to date that I have bought on Amazon. I have many lights but these are my favorite. I wish they had a dimmer mode... but not a big deal... I have a battery pak and I can take them anywhere! Camping, parties, car or just around the house.. they are very cheerful... pray I never loose remote or it could be frustrating clicking the button to find the right mode as there many options! Yes I will buy more when I'm able... would make great gift too! Enjoy!
