These are really cute, only had them up since Sunday so can't comment on "shelf life" but so far, so good. They aren't too bright or too little, I think would be beautiful on a tree (mine are just a draped accent down a dark hallway), the remote seems to work just fine. There are a number of settings, all the way from just "on", to "don't use if your epileptic cousin is coming over", most of which would drive me nuts. I don't know what that one one-star reviewer was talking about as far as there being no setting for just "on", there most certainly is. I'd recommend them.The product the electrical section works fine, only there's no instructions telling you what it it actually does . So you have to hunt and peck . Also there weren't any replacement bulbs. So I am very careful with this. IF you have this info ,please send it to me. ThanksYou will love these lights so prettyI love these lights.
