Arrived pretty battered. Some of the paint is chipped on connecting edges. One of the glass globes is broken. I still like the looks of what survived. Amazon is sending an entire replacement (couldn't get just a replacement globe -- BOOOO Amazon). Anyhow, will use best parts from initial shipment and new shipment and update this review after installation.Update: Got the replacement lamp post today. It, too had one broken glass globe. I haven't decided yet if I plan to mix and match the two defective shipments into one good one and return the afterbirth, or return both for a refund. First, I am going to search the web to see how available (and how expensive) replacement globes are...Update 2: Replacement globes are $20 from the manufacturer, plus shipping. That is retail. Perhaps I could get a better price from a retailer, rather than the manufacturer. In any case, as long as I can get replacement, I am happy.I liked the looks of this lamp post, which is why I kept it. It looks great in the front yard, too. Really classes up the joint. HOWEVER, if you decide to order this item, order 2. Believe me, you will need the parts from 2 units to create one satisfactory lamp post. Besides a broken globe in each of my 2 shipments, I had to scavenge a lamp "arm" from one shipment to use in the other. There was a bad weld that left a gap between the "arm" and the cap. Also, one segment of the post was dented during shipment, so I had to scavenge a good segment from the other. Order two; then ship the non-viable lamp post back to Amazon on their dime. (But put one good one together before you ship anything back!)
