Wireless Under Cabinet LED Lights - 2 Pack with Remote for Kitchen & Closet

These lights are great and so simple to install. So easy, in fact that it took more time to peel off the sticker backing than it did to stick them under my cabinets! The remote makes turning them off and on really convenient and you can easily adjust the brightness and switch the color from cool to warm light. I like the timer function too. Just be prepared to have a lot of batteries on hand. Each light bar takes four AAA batteries and the remote takes another two. I just got these today so the time will tell how long the lights will last or how much battery they consume but I’m happy so far.These lights are super easy to install. Just press the magnets under cabinets with the included tape. I let those sit over night and then remember to get 4 AAA batteries per light and 2 more for the remote. The lights stay up by magnets.I have six lights through my kitchen. So I have to be in just the right spot to turn them all on at the same time. If not, it will just turn on the lights that receive the signal from the remote. Sometimes I have to point it at a couple of lights to turn them all on our off.Not as big as I expected and not very bright but works for me.Wow - these were SOOOOO easy to install (3M double sided strong tape), they are not visible under my cabinets and they turn on with a remote!! The remote has a timer so they automatically turn off without you having to turn them off. Also they are LED - pretty bright and just right for under cabinet. I have a huge kitchen with tons of upper/lower cabinets and double crown. If the crown didn’t go to the ceiling, I’d install them above as well. I order two sets and it took me less than 5 minutes and BOTH sets turn on/off with just one remote! I don’t need to use the 2nd remote that came with the 2nd set of lights. The batteries will last for probably over 6 months and to replace you just slide out the light from the bracket (3M double sided tape holds it in place) and replace batteries and slide it back into the bracket. Don’t hesitate to give these a go - it can transform your kitchen and it is a very very easy, fast and inexpensive DIY project - no screws, no wires, no damage to the cabinets.I started with 3 of these undercounter lights and now have 16 plus. Easy to install, put batteries in and peel strip on back of magnet - find your spot and press. To change batteries, pull the light off the magnetic strip and replace batteries and stick the light fixture back in place. I have found lots of fun places like under side boards to light shelf at bottom, under an entry table to light the floor, inside a side cabinet where I've created a liqueur/cordial bar and my old china cabenit. I rated a 4 as I'm still considering if there is a decent battery life as I have had to replace some with very little use of the fixture. It was missing the remote and one like, though there was an open box for the missing light. Included was a piece of paper asking me to follow up with them if I was dissatisfied. I sent an email And next day received A response that are brand new package was being sent to me. That was not sent prime, so It arrived in about five mailing days. But this it was entirely complete and they let me keep the other two lights. These lights are really slick. They can turn out with a touch or a remote. They feel good in your hand, no rough edges and a reasonable level of heft even before the three AAA's are put in. The remote is neat if you want to put them somewhere, maybe as accent lighting, because you can switch between cool white and warm white with a touch of a button, you can switch between 100% brightness and 50% brightness with the touch of a button. Then there are other buttons to pick brightness levels in between. You can lower them down to a very dim level if you want. They also have Timer buttons. I can confirm that if you press The five minute off button, the light will go off in five minutes. Package also says that the lights will turn off after two hours If no action is taken. I tested that and that is exactly what happened. I like the fact that you can touch the lights and they come on. When you first install the batteries, they come on at 50% and then you can turn them up to 100%. Most of them I attach the fairly heavy duty magnetic tape to the cabinet or whatever that I was putting the light in. The light can be easily removed that way. But another way of doing it is to put the sticky part on the back of the light. In that case, you can stick the light in a metal storage cabinet and move it to wherever you need light in that cabinet with the magnet on the back. I can tell you it's much better than using a flashlight. It's like the difference between a lightbulb and a fluorescent tube. Maybe the same amount of what wattage, but spread out over a much wider pattern. I calculated that you should get around 6-8 hours Of lighting from a set of batteries. I don't know if these would be a great choice for your kitchen undercabinet lighting. I should've shopped around a little more. So many batteries! Not as bright as I hoped. One has already quit working. :(these things drained batteries SO fast.. the dome in the middle is misleading, it looks like they're motion activated but they're not.using the remote you can turn the lights off but they still drain the batteries just as fast as if they were on the whole time. such a waste of money and batteries.they're not even that bright even at full brightness.(wow even the rating allows me to rate the motion detection quality. THEY DON'T EVEN DO THAT! lol)Purchased these to put under the top cupboards in the kitchen to illuminate the countertop area. We place 3 of them along a 6' area and they were so dim they might as well not have been there. I particularly like the time off feature. It would be nice if the 3M foam adhesive were the 'pull to remove' type to facilitate relocating them if you got it wrong. I am cure there is a way to adapt them. Remember these require batteries; including the remote that is 18 batteries.. I also bought 2X 12 packs of Amazon AAA rechargeable batteries and a charger capable of charging 8 at once.Battery guzzler! Using 1100mA AAA x 4 and the batteries would last only a few days of light usage and you need to recharge 16 batteries all the time. Not impressed. Beside that the lighting is appropriate and good with 2 colors and variable intensity. Quality is adequate. Perhaps best for closets and other spaces where the use time is short and sporadic. I may change them for wired lights.The lights work at first but after a few months when I want to turn it on the batteries are all dead including the remote.I only tested them to make sure the turn on, I have not even installed them to the cabinet and they all died....Pretty useless if everytime I switch on the lights I need to install new batteries.Unfortunately it's passed the return period. So hopefully I can get a refund from the store.
