These string lights are great for walls! The clips are plastic, you need to be careful pulling them. I doubled them up to make an extra strand they were so long..I bought command clips to put up in wall. Remote has multiple settings and will be great for Christmas time. I bought another strand to put in my other room for fun!Gave these to my 13 year old granddaughter for Christmas (to replace the ones she got last year that quit working). She absolutely loves them - still, after having the others for nearly a year. I can't say why the others quit working, but kids can be hard on delicate stuff. I love them too, and will probably buy one to twine around my long bamboo poles that are arranged in a large vase.I also bought a set for myself to twine around five bamboo poles arranged in a large vase, two strings of lights per pole. I am very pleased with the effect (see photo).Pros:These lights were easy to install, lightweight and the use of a USB for power is practical.Each set on the string is individually wrapped, so no worry of tanglingThe strands have hooks which can easily hang or attach onto a hook or even fabric.Cons:There are two settings which are identical...the light setting for 1 and 2 are the sameThere isn't a twinkle lighting setting, there is a slow fade on and off, but no twinkleTwo settings are fast and won't likely ever be used.I bought two thinking they would connect, and unfortunately they do not[insert sad face]The picture for the product is misleading, the strings are spaced out further (5-6 inches apart).Overall I am disappointed with the purchaseLights look great. Very cheap way to light up a backdrop area. I ordered these for my wedding backdrop. You do need a way to plug it in to an USB ( I used my cell phone charger end) plug. Would of liked the hooks to be bigger but a string worked great to hang them from. I would buy again for the price.Very easy to install, not too bright. The USB plugged into my cube and we hung them for Christmas lights in our den. Lightweight so I could use very small command hooks to hang. The length is long enough that I doubled them over the connecting wire at the top when I draped them.This look lovely! I have a set hanging in my font window and they look very festive tough the frosted glass on the outside of my house. I used a spare light weight curtain rod that I installed above and behind my existing curtain rod and attached the little hangers that comes with these on there is as not to disrupt the curtain itself. Now I can open and close my curtain without moving the lights.When I bought this, I thought it was an actual cloth curtain of lights that I could hang up but the product is just the lights. They are great nonetheless, remote makes them easy to control and it gives a nice ambiance. My friends love them when I have them on with people over.Got this for daughters bedroom wall for use with curtains and clips for photos. She absolutely loves the way it looks.
