RGB Wireless LED Puck Lights - Remote Control, Battery Powered for Kitchen & Closet

They are bit gimmicky with a remote and colored lights. But suppose they are trying for as wide of an appeal as possible. I could also wish for heavier duty materials.... and not sure how the "switch" being also the lens/diffuser will hold up.But they work and they seem reliable. The initial "white light" is very bright. The diffuser keeps it from blinding you like some small LED lights are want to do. I obviously cant comment on battery longevity, but they do use AA instead of usual AAA used for puck lights and claim 100hr on set batteries. No reason to doubt this claim, though guessing maybe not the brightest light as that 100hr winds down. And probably go lot longer if used a lot while dimmed.Oh and if you hold the lens down for longer, the light will dim, let up and it will stay that dimness. Though when you turn light off, then on again it will go back to being on full bright. I personally cant imagine why I would need a remote, but it probably works. Its just when everything has a remote, remembering which remote is which gets confusing. But its there if your situation needs use of a remote.Now one use they dont mention, they actually make rather nice household flashlights. Light weight and lot local light, not "tactical" and wont light up the neighborhood like bright sunny day for 2 minutes before battery drains. And I personally wouldnt care to take them outside unless using in a tent or vehicle. Pretty sure they arent slightest weather resistant. But they are light weight and if any downside used like this, the lens switch is a might trigger happy, meaning easy to engage it without intending.Oh and to turn off you gotta cycle through all the colors. The green is probably brightest of the colored lights after the white. I have no idea, didnt test it out, but traditionally red LEDs were most battery efficient. So anybody after the maximum battery life in emergency might want to test that out. Red dimmed as much as possible might gain you wee bit more time in an emergency situation.Now yea I got this through VINE, no charge to me though anything I get via VINE, the full retail value is considered taxable income, so there is bit skin in the game. But yea for current price just under $20 for four with alkaline AA batteries included, I would buy them again with my own money. They arent perfect and try to do too many things but they do work fairly well for puck lights and do put out good amount light and use AA batteries. Now like all battery LED lights, I probably wouldnt expect super long lifespan of light itself. Alas thats just modern capitalism. I have yet to see any LED light with a circuit board last that long. Its why personally for a flashlight I prefer an older higher quality incandescent flashlight using an LED conversion bulb. You get benefit of simplicity of the incandescent but the battery life and brightness of the LED conversion bulb. No, not super extreme brightness or super tiny or able to send SOS signal to Mars or any of other hype, but practical and cheap with longevity. I know, boring, but hey boring and functional is good. Its excitement and wasting money on buying stuff over and over, that tends to kill you.These are great for giving some extra light not to bright like clear LED. I actually have an accent wall and I used them above the wall to add a pop to the wall they are perfect they can be adjusted to bright or dim. I have 3 up because my package only came with 3 sticky pads so I can’t use the 4th one yet I have to buy a sticker for it. I also can’t get all the lights to turn on at the same time I made sure the sensor was facing out and 2 will light up fine but the other won’t respond unless I point the remote at it directly. Ich bin sicher, es wäre besser, wenn es die Möglichkeit gäbe, Schraubenzu verwenden.il prodotto è stato usato per un lampada a corrente, ma che non aveva nessun attacco vicino, con due faretti ho risolto il problema.poi comidi negli armadiDespite these been advertised as from 'VLOEE' the instruction booklet says they manufacturer is 'LIDEN', not that it really matters, but it is still confusing.What you get for your money (£16.99 at the time of writing on 17 June 2022) are 4 x 88mm (3.46") diameter lights that each have a brightness of 100lm OR 55lm (Lumens), as both those figures are quoted on the web page... so more confusion there, but as 100lm is quoted twice, I suspect that is the correct value and they are bright - the run time is quoted as 100 hours.The lights give you a choice of 13 RGB = Red, Green and Blue) colours which you can select on the remote.Included in the box are 12 (4 sets of 3) AA batteries as each light takes 3 batteries instead of the normal 2 batteries usually found in this type of light, but you do get a longer 'working time' of 100 hours.Putting the batteries in is easy, just unscrew the 2 halves of the light, the 'base' is quite thin by the way, by twisting anticlockwise, then put the batteries in, (please note the polarity though - a tip is the 'spring' goes to the base i.e. negative of the battery) then just screw it back together again, clockwise to lock it.Also in the box are 4 round double-sided stickers to attach to the light and then to the surface where you want to mount them plus a remote, and of course the "User Manual", of which just the first 2 pages are relevant because they are in English, but the writing is also really small and I had to use a magnifying glass as well as wearing my reading glasses, but that could be just an 'age thing'.There are two ways to control the lights, either by :1) Gently stabbing quickly at the lens (you will hear a click), will turn the light on (white) and further presses will make it cycle through the RGB colours, and a further press will switch the light offHolding the lens down (long press) will change the brightness of the selected colour from about 20% to 100%.OR ...2) Using the remote provided but obviously there are extra functions on the remote and it is also easier to use the remote... I used it to set the lights up initially, then reverted to just pressing the lens to switch them on and off and change colours, because I was using these lights as 'under kitchen cupboard' lights.To activate the remote you firstly need to remove the plastic tab that is sticking out of the bottom, this activates the battery.The remote is divided into sections, and the buttons are as follows :1) Power section :The top two left buttons are 'On' and 'Off'.2) Smooth / Fade section :The two buttons directly under on and off (second row down) are marked 'SMOOTH' and 'FADE'.SMOOTH will slowly cycle between ALL the colours whereas FADE will alter the brightness from 'dim' to 'bright' within about 3 seconds but of just the one colour you have selected.3) Timer section :The end two buttons of the top two rows are marked '30MIN' and '60MIN, these are pre-sets times to make the lights stay on for either of the two lengths of time.This function IS NOT available by touching the light lens though and is exclusive to the remote control !4) The third row down has a "+' and '-' buttons which will alter the brightness when you are on just one selected colour.5) Colour Pre-set Buttons :The far right button of the third row down is marked 'W' and will give around a 'Natural White' (4000K) - nowhere does it say what actual white this is, I an just guessing really.The last 3 columns UNDER the '+', '-' and 'W' buttons are the 12 pre-set colour buttons (the 'W' Button makes up the 13 pre-set colours they mention) and are arranged roughly in RGB order, it is best just to try them and see for yourself rather than my trying to describe the colours, and impossible task I reckon anyway.Conclusion :I have had similar lights to these but they were nowhere near as good as these, either in brightness or function.You could pay half the asking price for these lights and you would only get the 12 batteries, so to me it is a real bargain, but is is the quality and functions that won me over and I have no hesitation in giving these lights 5 stars !I hope this review has helped someone, as I have really enjoyed writing it.
