To assemble, simply twist bulbs into sockets. We hung these lights up about 3 weeks ago on our deck and absolutely love them!!! My husband also hooked them up to a dimmer switch which gives you more options. Theses lights cast a very light greenish cast. Turns out, the lighting is pleasant and soft. I would buy these again!!!We finally decided to upgrade our lights and are so happy we did...they are just beautiful! We love the red & white. The strand is very convenient (being able to replace the bulbs if necessary) and it was great having the long length. It went across our roofline perfectly! I like the colors so I will use them, maybe around the entry door?.Bright and beautiful!Quality of material is great, but the warm white opaque bulbs are not giving out 'warmness' in our view, instead a pale greenish cast. Maybe we should go for the 'gold', but fear the opaqueness is what makes it ironically 'cold'.
