So the lights themselves once they were put together and turned on, looked very beautiful. But it was a treacherous process to get there. First of all you have to individually untangle each light strand- which takes a long time. They are on very small wires- it is not christmas light material. Also, the remotes did not work.. well they did work but not up to par. The remotes would change the light setting, but it would not keep it there. The light settings changed every few seconds so there was no way to keep everything on the same setting for an extended period of time. When all is said and done... they were pretty inexpensive and looked really nice but idk if I would necessarily purchase these again.at first the lights were not working but after one day, I tried turning them on and they worked! it looks beautiful!It says it has timer function but I still didn’t figure it out. What I live about it that the string itself very unnoticeable, but yet light can be super bright. It was hard to separate them ones I took them off but I think if I would of separate them one buy one it would be much easierWe bought these for my daughter’s slumber party. They come very tightly wound and require a lot of patience to set up, but definitely worth it when you are done! I have attached a photo of how they look when they come. The lights are super super tiny, but actually produce a lot of light. They are commented to a metal strings which are what take so much time to unwind. We used them in a large tent and they were a huge hit! We bought two, but ended up only needing one. The girls loved the remote and the different settings. The lights did exactly what we wanted them too and looked great.I purchased these because someone had answered a question that if you put them on a switch, they would turn on when you turn on the switch. Maybe mine are defective, but this is not true. Every time I turn off the switch, I have to turn it on and then press the button on the lights to turn them on. I have to have them plugged in in an inconvenient place which is why I checked for this before purchasing.The remote I received does not work at all.The lights also don't provide any light to a room. They're a cute decoration and nothing more - nothing like what they appear in the pictures.I am using these for my wedding in May, and I think they are going to be perfect for my vision =)I love these lights. I bought two pair about a month ago. One is still working and the other quit a week ago. I can’t seem to operate them with the remote. Too bad. They are really lovely at night.Giving this 4/5 for the need for a USB plug, and some of the light settings are more like a flashing strobe light than twinkling lights.Easy to set up, easy to use, worth it!
